“YMCA ARTreach kids in Youngstown traced their hands, cut out, put messages of friendship, love, unity, etc. on them. ‘Peace Tree’ hung at the YMCA for a few days before being packed and sent to their exchange partner, Hekab Be Biblioteca in Akumal, Mexico. Hekab Be Biblioteca is a non-profit, grass roots community center and library.” Suzanne Gray

Suzanne Gray, who facilitated the creation of the artwork, has been an Ohio Regional Coordinator for the Global Art Project for Peace for 14 years.
