Jane created art for her exchange partner in Bucharest, Romania. She also created art to send to a participant who didn’t receive art from their exchange partner.

“I am attaching the two drawings that I created for my matches. I am really liking these and hope my recipients do too! Here is my brief description about the artwork that I provided for each recipient.

"The enclosed artwork is a pen and ink original drawing using a childhood drawing tool, the spirograph, which creates the outside border of my ‘earth’. The other components of the drawing are freehand drawn. The feather represents the freedom of flight that birds experience while the swirling patterns are meant to be eddies, circular currents of water in our oceans. Water and air are combined in my vision of global peace.”
