“Since I founded the Global Art Project for Peace in 1994, I have participated in each exchange as an individual or as part of a group. I so enjoyed creating this page for a group book by the group ‘Oracle Artists for Peace’ coordinated by Sharon Holnbeck, Founding President, Triangle L Art Ranch. When I saw Sharon’s idea for a collaborative book for peace, I was excited to join in. I loved Sharon’s idea for each artist to take pages from a book and then alter the pages to create one or two new pages dealing with peace. After gathering the finished pages from artists in Oracle and Tucson, Arizona, Sharon created an accordion book. The book was sent to our exchange group, University of Providence Art Students in Great Falls, Montana, USA.”
“I loved the pages that were created so much that, when I was editing this 2024 Gallery, I decided to create several postings with pages from the book—instead of making just one post. You’ll find many of the pages throughout the Gallery!
"I’m grateful to Sharon for coordinating the group—giving us an opportunity to create our expressions of peace.”
